DORIS RENEE CAMPBELL was born April 7, 1966 to Doris Lucille Campbell and Surley Harmon. After Doris Lucille’s passing, Louise Jones –the only motherly love that she ever knew, raised her from infancy to adulthood.
“Renee” lived her childhood to adulthood life in Exmore, Virginia. She attended the Northampton county Public Schools. Upon completing graduation, she continued her education in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Fashion Institute with a major in Cosmetology. She completed her major at Ward’s Corner Beauty Academy in Norfolk, Virginia. “Renee” also graduated from the Eastern Shore Community college as a Certified Medical Nursing Assistant and held certification in child development.
She was employed at Occohannock Elementary in the clinic and was also by the Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox.
She is survived by: her son, Richard E. Campbell (“Man”); her mother, Louise Jones of Exmore, VA; two sisters, Naomi Campbell of Trenton, N.J., and Louise Campbell-Coles of Exmore, VA; two brothers, William Campbell and Curtis Branch of Philadelphia, PA; one sister-in-law, Cynthia Branch of Philadelphia, PA; one brother-in-law, Clinton Coles of Exmore, VA; three nieces, Crystal Odom, Kia Coles and Cynthia Branch; one nephew, Patrick Coles; four aunts, Alberta Cornelius and husband (William) of Belle Haven, Shirley and Jeanette White of Belle Haven, and Vanessa Jones of Painter, VA; three uncles, Charlie White and wife (Barbara) of Painter, VA, James White and wife (Seline) of Hare Valley, VA, and Bruce White and wife (Terry) of Exmore, VA; a host of cousins other relatives and friends including longtime and best friend Mary Kellam.
She will be surely missed and we love you but God loves you the best. Rest in peace Renee!
