| O b i t u a r y RUTH SMITH CHIVES was born to the late Estelle and Willis Smith in Capeville, Virginia June 8, 1903. At an early age, she joined First Baptist Church, Capeville, Virginia. Later in years, she moved to Nassawadox, Virginia where she was united in marriage to the late Howard Chives and joined Bethel Baptist Church, Franktown during Rev. L.L. Ford’s pastorate. She became a member of Willing Workers and was a very faithful member in the Missionary Ministry. She departed this life November 26, 2003 at Heritage Hall Health Care, Nassawadox. Virginia. She leaves to mourn her loss: a sister, Lucretia Floyd, Nassawadox, Virginia; sister-in-law, Hilda Smith, Fredericksburg, Virginia; a very devoted niece, Shirley R. Johnson, Nassawadox, Virginia and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Family |
