Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;           II Corinthians 1:3

We were all grieved by the sudden demise of our beloved one.  God saw that she had suffered enough and she had fought a hard and long battle, so He took her to be with Him.

On September 24, 2003, MARY JANE GLOVER-GIDDENS departed from this life in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, Virginia.  Mary Jane, better known as “Sis”, was born to Mary Ellen Ames and the late Thomas Glover, Sr. August 27, 1957 in Northampton County, Virginia.

She received her formal education from the Northampton County Schools.  She was married to Wilmer Giddens.

In her early years, Mary Jane was a member of Ebenezer A.M.E. Church.  She was a warm and caring person who helped anyone with whom she came in contact.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Mary Ellen Ames, Cape Charles, VA.; one son, Antwon Wyatt, Burlington, N.J.; three sisters, Casandra Nottingham, Burlington, N.J., Willow Beasley and Caroline Beasley, Camden, N.J.; one brother, Thomas Glover, Jr., Cape Charles, VA.; her husband, Wilmer Giddens, Cheriton, Va.; three nieces; eight nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; a special friend, Troy Moses and many other relatives and friends.
