CATHERINE ROSELLE JORDAN was born January 15, 1932. She passed away August 24, 2005 at the Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox after a long illness.
Catherine was the daughter of the late Daniel and Rosa Lee Roselle. She joined Bethel A.M.E. Church in Eastville at an early age. She was educated in Northampton County, Virginia.
In March 1961, Catherine married George Jordan and from this union was born one son, Gregory.
She worked many years in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania at the college and the hospital. She returned to the shore in 1993 with her husband George for her retirement.
She leaves to mourn: her husband, George; son, Gregory; two brothers, William Roselle of Philadelphia, PA, Charles Roselle of Machipongo; four sisters-in-law, Hattie Roselle, Dorothy Roselle, Maurice Roselle, Sarah Roselle, and Gladys R. Trower; nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
