O b i t u a r y On November 13, 2003 MARY ELLEN AMES ROBINSON departed from this life at Heritage Acres at Cape Charles, Virginia. She was born to the late Jessie Manuel and Ella Mae Ames January 30, 1937. She received her education at Northampton Public Schools.
She was later married to the late Thomas Glover, Sr. from this union three children were born: two sons, Timothy Glover, who preceded her in death and Thomas Glover, Jr. of Cape Charles, Virginia, and one daughter, Mary Jane Glover-Giddens, who also preceded her in death.
She was later remarried to Willie George Beasley and from that union three children were born: Casandra Nottingham, Willow Beasley and Caroline Beasley.
In her early years she joined Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, Capeville, Virginia. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed others. We know that she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Thomas Glover, Jr. of Cape Charles, VA.; three daughters, Casandra Nottingham of Burlington, N.J., Willow and Caroline Beasley of Camden, N.J.; ten grandchildren, Trayle Beasley of Hamilton, N.J., Santino Beasley of Fredericksburg, VA., Jerome, Marcus, and Jeremie Beasley of Camden, N.J., Maria, Curtis and Kelsey Nottingham of Burlington, N.J., Tawanda Smith of Treherneville, VA., and Antwon Wyatt of Burlington, N.J.; three great-grandchildren, Trayle Beasley, Jr. of Trenton, N.J., Jerome Beasley, Jr. of Sicklerville, N.J. and Wysaan Kellam of Exmore, VA; two sons-in-law, Curtis Nottingham of Burlington, N.J. and Wilmer Giddens of Eastville, VA.; three uncles, George Ames of DE., James and Joseph Ames of Cape Charles, VA. and two aunts, Lillian Williams and Bertha Lloyd of Cape Charles, VA.; one special friend, Mary Williams of Cape Charles, VA.; and a host of cousins and friends. |
