BLANCH ROGERS WHITE, the beloved daughter of the late Alberta Kellam, and Andrew Rogers was born on April 26, 1916 in Belles Neck, Painter Virginia.  She departed this life February 3, 2004 at the Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox, Virginia.

Blanch was a jolly lady who loved being around her Children and grandchildren; she loved cooking, traveling and her suits and hats

Blanch received her education in the Accomack County Public School System.  She spent most of her life working at M.J. Duer in Exmore Virginia.  She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, a former member of the missionary and cooked in the kitchen.  Blanch loved going to church even when her health began to fail, but she still managed to attend when the weather permitted.

She was predeceased by her husband James White and a daughter Margaret Sarah Jones.

She leaves to mourn her passing: five daughters, Shirley and Jeanette White, Belle Haven, VA., Alberta Cornelius (William), Belle Haven, VA., Louise Jones, Exmore, VA., and Vanessa Jones, Painter, VA.; four sons, Bruce White (Terry), Exmore, VA., Charlie White (Barbara), Painter, VA., James White (Seline), Hare Valley, VA., and William Lee White (Vickie), Dover, DE.; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; sixteen great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mamie Addison, Hare Valley, VA.; a large number of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.  She always thought a lot of Burleigh, Mary Emma, and Linda Sue Addison, Andrew Rogers, a special cousin Alice Doughty, and all of her care givers especially her daily attending nurse Jackie Savage.
